Music Theory
Jasmine Tsai recently graduated from the University of Portland with a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a vocal performance emphasis where she studied with Dr. Nicole Hanig. She is a bay area native and has been teaching for a few years now. She started her vocal studies at the age of eight and has since performed as a soloist on several occasions. In the summer of 2015, she attended the Music in the Marche program in Mondavio, Italy where she learned several new techniques for classical singing.
During her time at the University of Portland, Ms. Tsai was the soprano section leader and the conducting associate for the University Singers as well as the music theory tutor on campus. In her free time, she enjoys dancing and spending time with her family. Within this next year, Ms. Tsai also plans on attending graduate school for vocal performance.
